Smart Works is a charity that provides high quality interview clothes and interview training to unemployed women in need. They harness the power of clothes and confidence to allow a woman to be her best at a crucial moment in her life, giving her the confidence, the self-belief and the practical tools required to succeed at interview and transform her life.
Get a referral
If you are a woman and would like to be referred to Smart Works then you can either email buildingfutures@networkhomes.org.uk or call 0300 373 3000 and ask for Kamara Jackson, Employment and Training Adviser.
Remember that appointments can only be booked for Smart Works after your job interview is set. Once the appointment has been confirmed you should treat this as a professional commitment. It cannot be guaranteed that clients who are more than 30 minutes late will be seen.

Are you interested in gaining admin experience and experience in the construction industry? Apply for the Business Administration Apprenticeship!
As an administrator, you will be making sure that day-to-day office tasks run smoothly, it’s important that you are organised, accurate and pay attention to detail. You will be working for a construction company, based on a multi-million pound project, your role will be fundamental in ensuring that the particular project that you are assigned to is progressing efficiently.
It is likely to take 18 months to complete this apprenticeship, depending on current qualifications and experience.
Rate of Pay: £8.21 p/h.
Hours: From 8am to 4pm.
Location: A Hounslow based construction project, applications from residents of the Borough of Hounslow are particularly welcomed.
Contract Type: 12months, fixed term.
You will be involved in tasks including the following:
• Document control
• Receptionist duties
• Organising meetings and travel arrangements for management staff
• Using office equipment and systems such as databases
You will be expected to:
• Manage and improve your own performance in a business environment
• Solve problems
• Work with other people in a business environment
Minimum Requirements
This is a Level 3 apprenticeship so applicants need to have at least a Level 2 in Functional Skills or GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths.
Desired Requirements
It will be an advantage if you have some previous related work experience and you should be confident using ICT.
