Hired! Hear from our apprentices and graduates

Apprentice learning on the job

I was interested in becoming an apprentice at Network Homes because I wanted a career change and to experience a new challenge. I also liked the idea of learning whilst working and being able to obtain the CIH Level 2 Certificate in Housing Practice. In my seven months with Network Homes, I have spent time with the Customer Contact Centre in Hertford and the Neighbourhood Team at the Wembley office. During my time with the Customer Contact Centre, I learned how to use our customer systems. I also got first hand experience listening to customer’s queries and providing a solution to their problems.

Graduating to a career

Through Charityworks I built up the skills and confidence to apply for a full time role when it became available. I developed an interest in marketing and communications as a result of spending a couple of months with the team. So I was thrilled when I got the role of Marketing and Communications Assistant.

I came to Network Homes as a Graduate in 2013 and I've worked my way up to my current role leading on Business Intelligence in the Transformation Team. The Charityworks graduate scheme opened the door to my housing career and Network Homes has provided the opportunities to move up and take it to the next level.
