Summer sustainability events

Following the launch of our Sustainability Strategy in 2021, we've been looking at how you can get involved and work with us to make your area more environmentally sustainable to benefit your neighbours and community. 

This summer we'll be hosting an in-person resident sustainability event in your communal area! The event will be focused on sustainability and biodiversity, with many free fun activities* to help you make the best use of your green spaces, save energy and reduce food and household waste.

You'll have the chance to enter a raffle, talk to Network Homes colleagues working across the organisation and catch up with your neighbours and local residents. We'll have lots of activities, for people of all ages, to get involved with, a range of free refreshments and a goodie bag for you to take home.

*While putting together the events we have been working with sustainability in mind, we will be supporting small local businesses and suppliers who work hard to reduce their carbon footprint and/or reduce their plastic waste. We will continue to consider this when planning events in the future.
