Local Events

Here, you'll find our calendar of local events we've organised for residents, as well as events organised by organisations in your community.

We understand that everyone has different preferences for how they would like to engage with us, and not all residents are able to or have the desire to connect with us online. With this in mind, we have prepared a calendar of events which includes a blend of virtual and in-person events.

We have published the dates for scheme meetings below and will share specific times and details with residents via text closer to the time. Posters with these details will also be placed in communal areas. If you would like to request a scheme meeting in your area, please get together with your neighbours to submit a request. We will schedule a meeting once five households from the same area have made a request.

We will be updating this page throughout the year with themed events open to all residents where you can share your ideas, hear more about ongoing projects and discuss hot topics as they occur throughout the year.

This is a weekly mental health drop-in session led by one of our local residents. A chance to get talking and break the stigma around mental health by connecting with people in the local community.

Feel free to come in for a tea and coffee, and nibbles. You can also meet Network Homes’ Mental Health Liaison Officer.

Address: The Sele Farm Community Hub Fleming Crescent, Sele Farm, Hertford

Free and open to all, no need to book!

If you have any questions or would like to know more, please email mentalhealth@networkhomes.org.uk or call 0300 373 3000.

We want to give something back to the community and help families with young babies access extra support they may not have had during the pandemic. Our Mental Health Liaison Officer Tanya-Marie Baser will be offering a free baby massage class for the Sele Farm Community throughout June and July.

Everything will be supplied in class, all that is needed is you, your baby and a towel.

Who are they for?

Classes are for babies who are any age from eight weeks old to crawling age and suitable for one parent and one baby. You don’t have to be a Network Homes resident to register!

We want to help as many families as possible so each parent/baby is entitled to one free class on one of the following dates.

  • 17 June, 11am to 12pm
  • 24 June, 11am to 12pm
  • 1 July, 11am to 12pm
  • 8 July, 11am to 12pm.
