Network Homes named ‘Winner of Winners’ at National Housing Awards

12 September 2016

Network Homes scooped ‘Overall Winner’, ‘Best Design’ and ‘Best Small Development’ at last week’s National Housing Awards 2016.

The Overall Winner award is presented to the organisation that the judging panel feel has exceeded in moving the home ownership industry forward by introducing an outstanding solution or development into the sector.

We also won the Best Design award for our distinctive Park Heights development in Stockwell Park. The 20-storey building was designed by renowned architect PRP and features a 24-hour concierge service, a ‘sky garden’ which provides both a communal amenity space and panoramic views across London, and bedroom balconies for all apartments within the building.

Our Electric House development in Willesden Green also won the Best Small Development award. Electric House is a new development featuring 20 luxury one and two bedroom apartments. Its design takes inspiration from a former locally listed 1930s listed building.

Vicky Savage, Executive Director of Development at Network Homes, said: “We are absolutely delighted and very proud to have won these three major National Housing Awards. To get the ‘Winner of Winners’ award is an outstanding achievement and our organisation is buzzing!

“We have a clear vision to create beautiful homes which leave long lasting legacies and give customer delight. These prestigious awards from our industry show that we are on top of our game.

“Our winning projects both contain a majority of 'affordable' homes, and our core purpose remains a commitment to house those in housing need in exceptional quality homes. Our mission is ''good homes make everything possible'' and we work hard to make this a reality for our customers.”

Helen Evans, Chief Executive of Network Homes, said: “Receiving the ‘Overall Winner’ award is a fantastic outcome for Network Homes, and testament to our commitment to provide high quality affordable homes for all our customers. “We give people the key to all the possibilities that come with a good home and our success at these awards reflects the investment we make into each and every one of our developments to create thriving communities.”
