We have exchanged contracts with Formation Design and Build Limited to construct and deliver 38 new affordable homes in Wembley Central, Brent.
The homes will be one, two and three bedroom apartments; 26 for affordable rent and 12 for shared ownership, all managed by Network Homes.
Work is currently underway on the site which was previously a car park – to make way for the new homes that will complete in October 2018. This vibrant new neighbourhood will provide much needed affordable homes in the borough of Brent.
Located in Wembley Central, the homes will be within walking distance to the high street with various shops, cafes, local restaurants and a gym. The homes will be well served by public transport; Wembley Central Station is just a three minute walk away with regular services into Central London on the Bakerloo and Overground lines. Multiple bus routes provide regular services to Ealing, Harrow and Hillingdon.
The overall development will have a total of 186 homes, 15 commercial units and a replacement public car park at basement level with 89 spaces. There will be plenty of communal amenity space, landscaped areas, bike storage and a new lift to access the High Road.
David Gooch, Commercial Director at Network Homes, said: “We are excited to be working with Formation Design and Build Limited on this project and hope this is the first of many partnerships with them. This development will provide much needed new affordable homes in Wembley Central.”
Noel O Carroll, Managing Director at Formation Design & Build Limited said: “We are pleased to be working with Network Homes to provide 38 affordable homes for local people. Montrose Crescent is a great development in the heart of Wembley Central offering high quality new build homes with excellent transport links.”
