Getting you ready to step into a new job role in 2020

17 December 2019

New year, new you! The start of a new decade is almost approaching, and our Resident Engagement team are ready to help you access relevant training and employment opportunities through our workshops. Find out how you can get involved.

Employability training

We're working with our contractors, Pinnacle People, to deliver a range of employability training sessions for Network Homes residents.

In the new year, we'll be delivering the employability workshops listed below for residents:

  • Business Start Up - Find out how to set up your business and avoid common start-up pitfalls.
  • Single Parents - Personal development training on topics like confidence building, personal social development and work preparation for parents who are interested in getting back into work.
  • 50+ employability training - You’re never too old to learn something new. This workshop aims to help older residents improve on specific skills and enable you to access employment opportunities through learning and training.
  • Digital and Financial Inclusion workshops.

We'll be running these workshops from the end of January and February, so look out for more details about them on our website in the new year. Keep your eyes peeled!

If you would like to attend any of our workshops, then all you have to do is register your interest by emailing our Resident Engagement Team at worksmart@networkhomes.org.uk.
