Time to make a difference and become the chair of your local panel

Do you have great ideas for improving your local community or the services you receive and need a way of sharing this with others? Well we have something just for you. We’re currently looking for Network Homes residents to join our Local Panels as the chair.  The closing date for completed applications for the panel chair is Monday 8 April 2019 at 5pm.

Our Local Panels are part of Network Homes Governance Structure ensuring we put residents at the heart of the organisation. They are made up of residents who work with us to drive up performance and satisfaction and help us to continually improve service delivery.

Why should I apply to be the chair?

As part of the local panel you’ll be the informed voice of our customers where you’ll get the opportunity to work in partnership with Network Homes staff to help us to continually improve service delivery and make recommendations for organisation wide scrutiny. You’ll be there to ensure we’re compliant with Homes England consumer standards and report to the Customer Services Committee when we’re not.  In addition, as the chair of the panel, you’ll get to chair meetings, lead the panel to provide constructive feedback on strategic decisions and represent residents at the Customer Services Committee.

The chair will also receive a £3,000 per annum remuneration payment. Sound great? Then being the chair of the local panel is right for you.

If you’re interested in being on one of our local panels then you can find out more information about them and apply online in the Get Involved section. We have an online form or you can download the application form, complete it and email it to us at If you have any questions about being on the panel or about the recruitment process, you can contact us at
