Connecting to residents in street properties - Online residents event

2020 has certainly been an unusual year!

The impact of Covid-19 has hit so many people in so many ways. For some it has been a financial strain. For others the impact has been on their mental wellbeing. Some may have been feeling isolated due to social restrictions, disconnected from others or have a general feeling of insecurity during the uncertainty of the pandemic.

We've had feedback from some residents; who live in street properties rather than blocks that there may be more of a disconnect from us, and other residents. We want to support residents to feel more connected to us as staff members and other Network Homes residents in the community.

We had planned to hold events located near street properties this summer, but due to current circumstances, these had to be delayed. As winter approaches, this feels like the perfect time to hold an event, specifically for residents in houses, to engage with us in a bid to strengthen our relationships. We also appreciate that the issues residents living in street properties may be different from the issues that arise in large blocks.

  • Time: 6.30pm to 7.30pm

The main discussion points will be:

  • What’s the best thing about where you live?
  • What would you like to see from us?
  • How would you like us to engage with you?

We recognise that the issues that you may experience differ to issues to those living in larger blocks, what are the issues you feel affect you the most?
