Free and accessible wellbeing activities

We know that it has been a tough time with the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic having a big impact on us all. In this new normal, it’s important now more than ever that we look after ourselves. We know that taking care of our own wellbeing can sometimes be overlooked so we want to find out how we can better support you through this difficult period by providing wellbeing activities that are accessible and free for all. If you’re a resident, please answer a few questions online by 16 April 2021 about what would benefit you the most when it comes to your wellbeing. We’ll use the information to help us put together a programme of activities relevant to you and other residents.
How we can help
There are some fantastic ways to help us manage our physical and mental wellbeing as well as a lot of resources available for people to access and use. If, as a resident, you’re interested in accessing these free resources from us we’ll do our best to provide you with the content and activities you want.
As we’re still not able to physically meet up, we’ll have to provide you with online content and activities. We’ll source the relevant online webinars, videos, events and activities to support you to take care of your wellbeing. For us to provide the right content, it would be great to hear from you. Please complete this wellbeing survey to help us understand your needs. It’s an anonymous survey but you can include your contact details if you’d like to receive email updates from us about wellbeing activities.
We’re keen to hear from as many residents as possible. If we do not receive enough interest in the service, we may not be able to provide it.
If you have been struggling to spend a bit of time on your wellbeing or are concerned about your mental health, please discuss this with your doctor or visit the NHS website which lists mental health charities, organisations and support groups that can offer expert advice.
