What does Sustainability mean to you? - Virtual Resident Engagement Event

16 February 2021

We’re hosting our next online resident event and this time we’re focusing on sustainability and we want to find out what it means to residents!

The event will be an opportunity for you to hear from Network’s Sustainability Group including our Chair, Peter Benz (Executive Director of Finance), and our Community Ambassador Nichola who’ll be co-hosting the event. We want your feedback on our newly published Sustainability Strategy and find out the environmental areas where Network can improve as an organisation and within the communities we serve!

Network's launched its five-year Sustainability Strategy and we want to hear from you!

The strategy describes how we will seek to address the issues of sustainability and integrate them into our day-to-day activities and longer-term planning, so we can contribute to meeting the long-term needs of staff, residents, and the communities we serve.

The world is facing a climate emergency and the actions we take now are needed more than ever. Our aim is to bring the Sustainability Strategy to life, and we need your help as we start our journey towards a more sustainable future for Network Homes and residents. So, this is the perfect opportunity to come along to our event and make your voice heard.

During the event there will be breakout room discussions on the below questions:

  • What does sustainability mean to you?
  • In terms of energy efficiency, what efforts can we all make to be more sustainable including residents and Network Homes?
  • How can Network Homes engage with residents on sustainability and environmental issues?
