Groundwork is running a 14 week landscape training programme for unemployed people aged 19 or older in the Hertford area. It’s a great opportunity to gain landscaping and gardening skills while improving your job prospects and helping the local community!
Network Homes is one of the partner organisations for Groundwork’s Green Team project again this year. Groundwork run a wide range of projects around the country to create better greener places, improve people's prospects, and promote greener living and working.
Grow your confidence in planning, landscaping and gardening as you work on real environmental projects on sites in and around Hertford. You will also achieve up to 2 City & Guilds qualifications, as well as complete the City and Guilds’ Functional Skills in English and Maths.
An additional bonus to the programme is you can also receive your choice of:
- A course of driving lessons
- Compulsory Basic Training for mopeds or motorbikes
- High street vouchers
Your benefits will not be affected if you take part in the programme and you will also receive free protective gear to use.
