We offer a personalised service of guidance, support and practical help to any customer looking to access training or work and support our residents to achieve their goals. So whether you’re looking for your first job, thinking of a career change, would like to gain a qualification or are planning for the longer-term, get in touch by emailing employmentandskills@sng.org.uk

We’re also committed to making sure that local people benefit from the development and regeneration work we do. We work with our contractors and the relevant local authorities to provide local people with opportunities to improve their construction skills and enhance their future employment prospects. If you already have a job, we can also work with you to help you find different career opportunities or to move your career forward. For some residents this can mean increasing your earnings through better pay or more hours, finding more secure work, finding work closer to home to reduce travel costs or to fit around caring for children or family members or changing to a sector where there are good career progression opportunities for higher paid or higher skilled jobs.
