Network Homes trials open board meetings

Network is opening up some Board meetings to the public so that residents and others can attend and view how decisions are made.

We held our first open Board meeting as part of a trial in May, and we plan to hold another trial session November. Our Chief Executive, Helen Evans, has recorded a summary video which you can view here or below.

Open Board meetings give residents the opportunity to have their views heard and questions answered as well as observe the decision-making process. We’ll use the information collected to support future decision-making processes at Network to strengthen trust and confidence with residents and customers. One of our strategic objectives is ‘Strengthening residents’ trust in us’.

Our other ongoing commitments are to be more open and transparent as well improve the way we communicate with residents. We’re also aiming to more to get them meaningfully involved in improving services.
