We secured nearly £2.3million in income for customers

We've secured nearly £2.3million to boost the incomes of customers who live in London, Outer London and Hertford. This is all thanks to the efforts of our Welfare Advice Team who work hard to ensure customers are claiming all the benefits they're entitled to and can sustain their tenancies and support themselves.

Most of this money was from unclaimed benefits such as Universal Credit and Housing Benefit and in the 2023/24 financial year £750,000 went directly to customers themselves.

Dianne Challis, our Welfare Advice Team Leader said: “I’m proud of my team who go above beyond to help and support customers in sustaining their tenancies. The last year as been particularly challenging with cost of living and inflation and any income boost is welcome. Many customers are unaware of what they’re entitled to and proceed to struggle, but my team is here to help and support."
