What is Intermediate Rent?
Intermediate Rent is usually 80% of what you would be charged if you rented through private landlord. It’s available to key workers and others finding it hard to afford market rent prices in London and Hertfordshire.
Our Intermediate Rent homes are in great locations like Hackney, Islington and Harrow. We have a range of different homes available including studios, one, two and three bedroom flats and some of our shared apartments.
Is Intermediate Rent for me?
To be eligible for a home, you must:
- Be working
- Have a gross household income of less than £66,000 per annum to rent a shared apartment, studio, one or two bedroom home
- Have a gross household income of no more than £80,000 per annum to rent a three or more bedroom home
- Be able to afford 80 per cent of the local market rent without assistance, e.g. Housing Benefit.
For some developments, there may be other criteria such as the borough or council area you currently live or work in.
Before you rent a home with us, we will ask you to complete a financial assessment.
