Building new homes

On 1 October, Sovereign Housing Association and Network Homes came together as SNG (Sovereign Network Group). As one organisation we can invest more into building more new homes, maintaining existing homes and providing services to customers.

One of our strategic objectives is to increase the number of homes for people in housing need with an aim to Deliver as a minimum our Greater London Authority (GLA) programme of 1,000 affordable homes to be started in London by March 2026 and Complete 3,314 homes.

We currently have a development pipeline of over 2,400 new homes in nine local authority areas. These range from high rise city developments to low rise homes in rural communities. In 2021 we received an allocation of over £122 million to deliver 1,000 much needed new affordable homes in partnership with the Greater London Authority (GLA) as part of the new London Affordable Homes Programme.
