You'll get a generous 27 days annual leave (and your eight bank holidays), plus an extra day for every year of service up to five years! Perfect for trips overseas, visiting family or just sorting out that home project that's been on your list.

We offer a variety of bonuses at Network Homes including:
- Long service award - we honour our staff who have been with us for a milestone number of years with extra annual leave and a small financial bonus starting from 10 years of service. (You also get an extra day of annual leave every year for your first five years here!)
- Performance related pay - depending on your yearly appraisal rating, you can receive a financial bonus as a reward
- Merit award - employees may be awarded a merit payment for an outstanding piece of work, teamwork or customer service
- Attendance recognition - for staff who have no days sick in a calendar year, an extra day of annual leave will be given
- Recruitment referral - refer a friend who gets hired and you'll get a bonus for helping us find a great new member of staff
- Land finding fee - we're always looking for new land which we could use to deliver affordable housing. So if you recommend a piece of land that we end up developing, you'll get a reward payment as a 'thank you'.
We will match your contribution up to a maximum of 10%. You can opt into our pension scheme operated by the Social Housing Pension Scheme and choose whichever percentage of your salary suits your needs. The minimum contribution is 4% for people who have opted in.
We are a smart agile organisation and we offer flexibility in the way that you work.
We encourage staff to work flexibly, through our enhanced modern devices such as laptops and tablets. Working flexibly could involve working remotely or ad-hoc home working. You'll still be expected to attend your office occasionally for meetings, training and corporate events.
You can also make a formal request for flexible, home or part-time working patterns.
As a housing association we work with people all over London and Hertfordshire to help with their housing situation. And we know that unaffordable housing can affect our staff too, which is why we offer a Rental deposit loan scheme. We recognise renting accommodation in London comes at a high premium. We provide interest-free loans for employees to pay deposits on private rented properties. All employees are eligible and loans will be limited to an employee’s net monthly salary. The loan is repaid over a 10 month period through direct debit deductions from your salary.
Season ticket loan
To help you afford your travel costs we offer an interest free season ticket loan. The loan is repaid over a 10 month period through direct debit deductions from your salary.
Cycle to work loan
We assist staff with the cost of a bicycle and equipment to a value of up to £600 including VAT (as part of a Government initiative). The loan is repaid over a 10 month period through direct debit deductions from your salary. Our staff even used this to buy a new bike to cycle from London to Paris to raise money for St Mungo's!

Employee Assistance Programme
Sometimes things can happen in our personal lives that can cause us stress or worry and may have an impact on our working life too. So we offer a free Employee Assistance Programme that provides you with unlimited access to a 24-hour telephone helpdesk for support, discussion and counselling from your first day of employment.
The EAP offers advice on a range of issues such as financial issues, consumer problems, relationship advice, stress and substance abuse. The helpline is completely confidential and independent of Network Homes.
We know that having a good mental and physical wellbeing helps you to perform better and have a better work life balance. That's why we offer free initiatives to support healthy minds and healthy bodies such as:
- Fruit drop - monthly free fruit in the office
- Healthy eating support
- Book club
- And more!
We've even been known to organise a charity five a side football tournament or take part in a fun rounders match!
If you'll be based at a PC, Laptop or Visual Display Screen (VDU) for more than 50% of your average working day, you can claim the cost of your eye test back, as long as you're eligible.
Our staff run social club encourages staff to get to know each other through work based and social events, which are either free or heavily subsidised. They organise regular theatre trips, Christmas and summer parties and variety other activities suggested by staff.

Give as you earn (GAYE)
This is an employer sponsored scheme designed to encourage charitable giving through our payroll. Donations are made before tax and National Insurance deductions.
All our permanent staff (or those on a contract longer than six months) receive a total of 14 hours paid time off a year from their working hours to participate in volunteering activities. We organise a variety of activities through our Giving Something Back scheme that or staff can get involved in, from fundraising for our Charity of the Year, to supporting local initiatives or helping our residents! Our staff even use their days to complete Charity Challenges such as the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge or London to Paris bike ride!
