FACEBOOK : Our Facebook accounts for Network Homes and Network Homes sales have been compromised. We’re doing everything we can to liaise with Facebook and resolve this issue. Until then, please do not use our Facebook accounts to contact us and ignore any messages or posts you receive from our Facebook accounts.

Aids and adaptations

In this section, you'll find information on aids and adaptations for SNG customers who live in the former Network Homes area (covering London and the East of England). If you are an SNG customer who lives in the former Sovereign area (South and Southwest England) please visit their website.

If your health or mobility needs have changed, we may be able to adapt your home to make it easier for you to live there.

The types of adaptations that we can carry out include:

  • adapted showers
  • installing stairlifts
  • installing other types of lifts (e.g. hoist, through floor)
  • installing grab rails
  • installing extra stair rails
  • improving access to rooms (e.g. making doors wider)
  • improving access to your home (e.g. a ramp)

Applying for an adaptation

If you need an adaptation to your home, please contact an Occupational Therapist through your local council or your doctor.

The Occupational Therapist will visit you to assess your needs. The Occupational Therapist will then make a recommendation to us to carry out the works.

In some cases, we may be able to meet your needs in another way, for example by transferring you to a more suitable home.

For more information, please use the contact us form or phone the Planned Maintenance Team on 0300 373 3000.
