Annual report to residents 2022/23 out now

We've published our latest annual report to residents which looks at how we’ve performed against our targets, as well as our achievements over the last financial year, from April 2022 to March 2023.

Some of the highlights include:

  • 100% of homes we manage have a valid gas safety certificate, for the fourth year running
  • we started work on 1,229 new homes, including 497 affordable homes
  • we completed 207 affordable new homes
  • we beat our satisfaction target for the homes we rent out
  • and we reduced the time taken to move new residents into vacant homes from 83 days in 2021/22 to 52 days.

There are a number of areas where we haven’t met our targets, including resident satisfaction with our repairs service and residents’ trust in us. We’re aware that we need to do better for residents and will be looking closely at how we can improve our performance, especially once we merge with Sovereign on 1 October to form SNG (Sovereign Network Group).

This year, we're proud to have continued to support residents and invest in local communities, especially during a time when so many people and communities have been negatively impacted by the cost of living crisis. We spent £165k supporting 524 households and 10 community initiatives and enabled a further 740 residents to access a total of £1.82m in unclaimed benefits and grants.
