Day of fun for the children of Robinson Court
For Easter, Network Homes arranged a day of fun for the children at Robinson Court, a Supported Temporary Accommodation for homeless families.
For the day, we wanted to get the children out of their rooms during the holidays and give them the chance to play together. We arranged a number of activities for the children to get involved in. While the children played, we shared a coffee with the parents and had the opportunity to chat with them and hear their concerns. This was great because we were able to break the ice and get to know them more. The parents have even agreed to keep in touch and maybe arrange a day for the children to play together again after school.
The day was a great success and it was rewarding doing something good for the children of Robinson Court.
