New playground brings joy to Wareside children

We have helped to fund a new playground for children in the small town of Wareside, East Hertfordshire.

Wareside did not have any facilities for children and families would have to travel to neighbouring towns to give the children somewhere to play.

Residents were consulted as to how to area could be improved for children and the decision was made to create a spectacular new playground.

The new playground gives the children a wonderful new place to meet and enjoy themselves and has already seen a high level of use in its opening days.

Kirsty Stevens, Neighbourhood Officer at Network Homes, said: “It’s lovely to be able to see the children playing and laughing in the playground. It’s created a lovely atmosphere and is a great improvement to the area for local children. I’m glad we could play a part in making this happen.”
