Network Homes raises £1,000 for Essex and Herts Air Ambulance Service

13 September 2019

Residents at our flexicare scheme, Calton Court, in Hertford held an afternoon tea party to raise awareness and money for the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance Service. Over 60 people including tenants from schemes Calton Court, Bircherley Court and The Dell attended the party. They were also joined by friends, family and staff.

The afternoon tea included freshly made sandwiches, homemade cakes, scones and traditional cups of tea. There was also a raffle with prizes which were kindly donated by tenants, staff and several shops and restaurants in Hertford. Network Homes raised £1,000 and were met by Jeannie Philip from Essex and Herts Ambulance Service to receive the cheque and meet with tenants and staff.

Scheme Manager, Sara Holtby, commented “The whole day was a great success and I would like to thank all the staff and friends for getting involved and giving their time to bake and help prepare the cake stands and serve the tea.”
