Le Bon Court wins Best Small Development at the National Housing Awards 2019

09 September 2019

Network Homes' Le Bon Court was named Best Small Development at the National Housing Awards 2019. This award is for the best small schemes which bring sensitivity, affordability and sustainability when meeting the needs of the local area, whilst delivering at least 30% affordable homes.

The National Housing Awards, hosted by the National Housing Federation, is one of the most reputable housing awards which recognises excellence in affordable housing. The awards are judged by a team of sector leaders, design specialists and industry experts. Leading figures in housing gathered together at the award ceremony last Thursday at Grosvenor House to celebrate.

The NHA judges’ comments on Le Bon Court include "it’s a very good quality urban building and … one of the first developments in the capital to offer the Mayor of London’s London Living Rent tenure. The scheme's architecture is carefully detailed - the open plan apartments are spacious with generous balconies and terraces."

Le Bon Court is one of the first developments in London to offer homes under the Mayor of London’s London Living Rent tenure, so this award is very well received as it confirms that affordability doesn’t mean a compromise on the quality delivered. We look forward to working closely with the Mayor of London and all our partners to deliver more affordable and good quality homes for working Londoners.

The National Housing Awards result continues a successful year of award wins for Network Homes comprising of Property and Construction Project of the Year at the Inspiring Hertfordshire Awards, five HR Excellence awards and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Team of the Year at the Housing Heroes Awards.
