New ways to pay your rent and service charge coming soon!

05 December 2022

In spring / summer 2023, we will be making some changes to the ways you can pay your rent and service charge with us. We’ll be replacing our existing payment provider, allpay, with a new payment provider, PayPoint. The changes in payment provider will mean new online payment links, a new payment app, and more places for you to pay in cash over the counter. It will also mean we can introduce new payment methods, giving you greater choice and making it more convenient for you to make a payment to us.

Changes in payment methods from spring / summer 2023

PayPoint logoWhen we start to use PayPoint in spring, you will have a range of PayPoint payment methods to use and will no longer be able to use the allpay options to make a payment to us. PayPoint will offer their own version of the same payment methods as allpay, as well as additional payment options. You will therefore still be able to pay through:

  • Your My Network Homes online account
  • Online via the Network Homes website
  • A Network Homes payment app provided by PayPoint
  • Telephone
  • Direct Debit
  • Cash over the counter at shops that accept PayPoint payments using a new Network Homes PayPoint payment card.

If you pay your rent and / or service charge at the Post Office, you will no longer be able to pay this way from spring / summer 2023, but you will still be able to pay in cash at shops that accept PayPoint payments using the new PayPoint card. You can find a convenient PayPoint local at Consumer.paypoint.com. If you currently use a payment card to pay your rent or service charge, we will send you a new PayPoint payment card to use from spring / summer 2023.

If you pay your rent and / or service charge by standing order or cheque to Network Homes, these payment methods will still be available for you to use.

How we will support you with the change and what you need to do

There’s nothing you need to do right now to prepare for the change. Please continue to use our existing payment options, including allpay options, until PayPoint options are available. We will let you know when this will happen.

If you currently use the Post Office to make a payment to us you may want to consider changing to another payment method ahead of the change as we will no longer be able to accept cash payments made at the Post Office. You will still be able to make cash payments at other locations that display the PayPoint sign.

Some of the alternatives to cash payments at the post office include:

  • Direct Debit - a safe, secure, and convenient way to make payments
  • Online - through your My Network Homes account
  • standing order - regular bank payments to our account.

You can find out about all the alternative payment methods we have available on our website at www.networkhomes.org.uk/waystopay.

We will be updating the information about payment options on our website and in your My Network Homes online account ready for you to use from spring / summer 2023. We will also let you know nearer the time how you will be affected and if there’s anything you need to do depending on how you currently pay your rent and / or service charge.

If you would like more information about the changes to payment methods or speak to someone about our current payment methods, including how to set up Direct Debit, please email us at paypoint@networkhomes.org.uk, complete our online contact us form and someone will get back to you, or call us on 0300 373 3000.
