Network Homes scoops architecture award for Hertford regeneration scheme

14 September 2020

Network Homes is pleased to have won another gong for our regeneration scheme in Sele Farm, Hertford.

The redevelopment of the former Ridgeway Estate won the Hertford Civic Society Award in the ‘Houses and flats’ category. Meanwhile Network’s Tudor Way development, also at Sele Farm, was also commended by the judging panel.

This latest award takes the tally to three for Ridgeway, having won the Bronze Award for ‘Best Regeneration’ at the 2019 What House Awards and ‘Property and Construction Project of the Year’ at the 2019 Inspiring Hertfordshire Awards.

The £34 million regeneration project was completed in 2019 and saw with the old 1960s estate transformed into a stylish neighbourhood of 120 new affordable homes for local families.

The Hertford Civic Society Awards run every four to five years and where a panel of judges review new buildings and major renovations across the town.

We made a short film about the project. Check it out below.
