"En suite bathrooms in shared accommodation in London are a rarity at this price in private rental accommodation."

Shannice James-Mcfee, Marketing and Lettings Manager at Network Homes

Each Key Living apartment has four private and spacious en suite mini-studios, each fully furnished with a bed and work station, a large shared kitchen and dining area, well designed and equipped with modern appliances.

The mini-studios are spread across three buildings and there is a good amount of storage space for each resident.

You do have to look after your own mini-studio, but a professional cleaner will come in once a week to look after all shared spaces and there is also a free skilled handyperson service if you need any work carried out. The team is available out of hours if needed. Residents can report a repair to the 24-hour contact centre or on the Network website.

Residents can benefit from superfast internet, a communal garden and regular grounds maintenance.

Saving money and short tenancies

We’re running a special offer of two month’s rent free when signing a 12-month tenancy! We can also offer you one month rent free when signing a six-month tenancy. The rent-free period will be spread over the course of the tenancy term. Normal rent is £702.36 a month, but under this special off it’s only £585 per month for your first year. This includes council tax and all bills and all the other extras - giving you a hassle-free experience.

We offer assured six-month tenancies, which are extended on a rolling monthly basis. The flexible tenancies mean residents have somewhere safe and secure to live straight away while they settle into their new job and new surroundings and save on commuting.

Shannice adds: "Our affordable rented homes allow people to consolidate their monthly outgoings into one payment. There won’t be a surprise heating bill in the winter as all bills and council tax are included.

"This allows residents to know exactly how much their outgoings on rent and bills will be. Key workers essential to the effective running of London and the surrounding areas, and our Key Living properties provide a place for these workers in the heart of the city. "

For companies, we also offers extended leases, so they know they always have quality affordable accommodation available when required. Properties can be managed by the individual company, with repairs service, maintenance and cleaning still included, or by Network Homes.

It also offers business short term bed spaces, which is cheaper than putting staff in hotels for events, conferences and secondments.

It is easy to get around the area

The Key Living apartments at Green Lanes were built as specialist key worker housing. They’re ideal for medical and administrative staff who want somewhere comfortable and close to work.

Green Lanes is a 15-minute walk from Finsbury Park tube and rail station which is on the Victoria and Piccadilly lines with national rail services to Moorgate and Kings Cross as well as links outside London to Hertford, Cambridge and Kings Lynn. There are regular buses to Euston Station and the West End.

Stoke Newington’s Church Street is not far with organic food stores, trendy bars/cafes and designer clothes and household items. Green Lanes itself is famous for its great Turkish cuisine. For football fans Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium is nearby as is Sobell Leisure Centre and ice rink.

Outdoor spaces to escape

The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted how important outdoor spaces are and Green Lanes is lucky to have two good parks right on the doorstep.

One of Hackney’s best loved traditional open spaces, Clissold Park, is nearby. The Green Flag awarded park is home to a variety of animals including birds, goats and a small herd of fallow deer along with the Grade II listed Clissold House which is in the middle of the park.

Finsbury Park is one of London’s largest green spaces and is a short walk away. It has an athletics track, gym and in normal times it hosts large-scale music concerts.
